Terms and conditions

Keyhold is a platform that advertises homes to rent and homes for sale across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and passes your enquiries and viewing requests to the relevant host or seller’s agent. We are not a party to any tenancy agreement or property sale — those are between you and the host or seller.

Sending an enquiry or viewing request is free and does not commit you to anything. A booking request becomes binding only when you and the host enter into a tenancy agreement, and a purchase proceeds only through the usual legal process for buying property. Nothing is due to Keyhold at enquiry.

We check listings before they go live and require photos and prices to be accurate. Availability can still change quickly, and we can’t guarantee any home remains available until an enquiry is accepted. Approximate locations are shown until a booking is approved.

Kit, our assistant, provides information drawn from live listings and can start enquiries on your behalf with your confirmation. It does not provide financial, mortgage, legal or tax advice, and its responses are not a substitute for professional advice. For buying decisions, use a qualified mortgage broker and conveyancer.

Give accurate information in enquiries, use the platform only for genuine housing searches, and don’t attempt to scrape, misuse or interfere with the service. Hosts and sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings and for complying with the letting and sales laws that apply to them.

We provide the platform with reasonable skill and care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from agreements you enter into with hosts or sellers, or for content they provide. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
