A red-brick city street of homes
Every home checked before it goes live

Real homes, checked by real people

Portals are full of listings that vanished weeks ago. We verify every home before it appears — whether it’s to rent or to buy — so what you see is what’s actually available.

  • Photos must match reality — no wide-angle fiction
  • Prices shown in full, bills flagged clearly
  • Approximate area on the map until you book, for everyone’s safety
  • One enquiry, one named contact, no call centres

Three steps, zero runaround

1

Search for real homes

Every listing is checked before it goes live — real prices, real availability, no bait.

2

Ask Kit anything

Our assistant compares homes, answers questions, and starts your booking in one chat.

3

Move in without drama

Send one enquiry, hear back fast, and get your keys with the paperwork already sorted.

Moves that went smoothly

Renters, buyers and hosts on how it actually went.

Kit found me three options inside my budget the same evening. I viewed over video call and had keys within two weeks.
Amara O.Rented in Manchester
The “£0 due today” thing is real — I paid nothing until my host approved. It felt honest the whole way through.
Tom H.Rented in Cardiff
We booked viewings for three flats in one chat and had an offer accepted inside a month. The map radius kept us from wasting Saturdays.
Priya S.Bought in Edinburgh
As a host, enquiries arrive with dates and budget already filled in. Far fewer dead-end emails than the big portals.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before their first enquiry. Anything else — ask Kit in the corner, or email support@keyhold.app.

Does Keyhold charge renters any fees?

No. Searching, enquiring and booking are free for renters. Hosts pay a small commission on completed bookings, which is how we keep the lights on.

What happens after I send an enquiry?

Your host reviews the request and replies by email, usually within a day. If they approve, we walk you both through contracts and first payment — all on the platform, nothing in the dark.

Do I pay anything when I book?

Nothing is due at enquiry. Your first payment only happens after the host approves your request, and you’ll see the full breakdown — rent, deposit, dates — before any money moves.

Are the listings verified?

Every home is checked before it goes live and photos have to match reality. The exact address is shared once your booking is approved — until then you’ll see the approximate area on the map.

What’s the minimum stay?

It varies by home — most are between 3 and 12 months, and every listing shows its own minimum. If your dates are awkward, ask Kit in the chat; partial-term matches come up more often than you’d think.

Can I cancel an enquiry?

Yes, any time before the host approves it, at no cost. After approval, the host’s cancellation terms apply — they’re shown on the listing before you commit.

How does buying through Keyhold work?

Browse homes for sale, request viewings online, and deal directly with the seller’s agent from there. We don’t charge buyers anything, and we don’t give mortgage or legal advice — for those, speak to a whole-of-market broker and a conveyancer.

Got a home to let?

List it on Keyhold and reach renters looking for exactly what you offer — no listing fees while we grow.
